Rachel and Anthony’s wedding was a long time coming. It required patience and hope because of the Covid 19 pandemic. Originally scheduled for August of 2020, it was postponed temporarily and then finally rescheduled for July of 2021. When the day finally arrived, the couple was rewarded with a beautiful summer day!

The day began with Rachel getting ready in an idyllic Royal Oak, Michigan bungalow that provided a perfect setting for a bride and her bridesmaids to get ready. Anthony and the groomsmen, photographed by associate Karen Foster, got ready in his downtown Detroit condo. After their wedding ceremony at Sts. Peter and Paul Jesuit Church Detroit, the couple were chauffeured around downtown in a classic Rolls Royce followed by the wedding party in a party bus. Stops were made at the location of the couples’ first date, Cafe D’Mongos Speakeasy, and toasts were made at Prime + Proper. 

The highlight of the day was their unbelievable wedding reception on the Ovation Yacht that set sail out of St. Claire Shores, Michigan and cruised the Detroit River past the skyline of downtown Detroit and the iconic Ambassador Bridge. Two decks were provided for dancing: the top deck jams by a live band and the deck below by a DJ. Additional photographers also included Jack Scicluna and Alex Norton.
