Arushi and Ankur’s gorgeous wedding was an obvious choice to be featured in the wedding magazine Metro Detroit Weddings, 2020 Winter/Spring edition! I have never photographed a wedding that was so on point with their celebration. Arushi and Ankur were surrounded by friends (mostly from college at the University of Michigan) that shared a common love for choreographed dance, and they put it on display at the Friday evening Sangeet, Ankur’s baraat on Saturday morning, and through the end of the wedding reception on Saturday night. They were so spectacular, it felt like we were photographing a live stage performance. It was completely fitting that they selected Detroit’s historic theater, once called The State Theater, to put on their wedding show! The Sangeet and wedding ceremony took place at The Dearborn Inn and the wedding reception was at The Fillmore Detroit.
